After serving honorably for 4 years in the United States Marine Corps, Paul ventured to Dallas, TX in 1986, with $200, no job prospects, 1 friend, and huge ambitions.  Within a year, and reading Money magazine, he stepped into the world of investing with a $1,000 investment into the American Century Ultra Fund – the most aggressive he could find in August 1987.  Within a few short months, he experienced Black Monday – October 19, 1987 – the single worst decline in market history, -22% in a single day.  Being the novice investor, he sold, learning a valuable $250 lesson along the way.  He spent the next 3 years learning everything he could about various markets before investing again.

From that time, he has invested in various markets: stocks, bonds, options, gold, and real estate.  Along the way, he also graduated Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Finance, and afterwards, an MBA from the University of TX – Dallas.  He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (TM), providing comprehensive financial planning strategies at a heightened commitment level of integrity and service to his clients.

Paul’s 30+ years of investment experience has taught him to be a prudent investor, taking risk when markets are down, and being defensive when markets are at a euphoric high.  This strategy has served him and his clients well over the years.

Prior to forming Integrity Private Wealth Advisors, LLC in November 2018, he managed $60mm and 150 client households at Ameriprise Financial.  Paul’s desire to chart his own course, focused on a select clientele to provide the utmost client service and investment flexibility, led to his departure and fulfillment of a lifetime goal – launching his own firm.  Integrity, Commitment, and Trust are the hallmarks of his firm.

Paul and his wife, Joan, reside in Dallas, TX and enjoy serving the Lord, home improvements, and good movies.
